Editing a SAN Device Path

To check the status of a SAN device path or edit a SAN device path definition:​

  1. Click Configure on the Function Tab bar of the window, then click Devices.

  2. Open the Edit Device Path dialog in the right pane by doing one of the following:

    • Right-click the device path name or icon to display a context menu. Then select Edit. The selection is indicated by the selection check box next to the device path icon.
    • In the left pane, select the SAN device path you want to edit and do one of the following:
      • From the menu bar, select Device > Edit Device Path.
      • On the task panel, click Edit Device Path.

    The Edit SAN Device Path dialog appears.

  3. Revise the Logical Node Name, Device ID, and Comment fields as needed. For a description of these fields, see Adding a SAN Device Path.

  4. Select Apply on the task menu at the top right of the right pane. If you are unable to see the task menu, resize the right pane.
