Launching the Backup Window

This topic addresses all modes:​

  • Backup > Block
  • Backup > Agentless VMware
  • Backup > NDMP
  • Backup > Image
  • Backup > File

Nuances specific to any of the above items (referred to as Backup Modes) are indicated when appropriate.

Note.

For information about backup of the Catalog, see Backup: Protecting the Catalog Data in the User’s Guide. Regular backups of the Catalog are critical for disaster recovery scenarios.

To launch the Backup window:​

  • Click Backup function tab. Then select your desired mode (Block, Agentless VMware, NDMP, Image, or File) by clicking the appropriate option.
