CSV Configuration in DPX

  1. Before starting, enable Clustered Shared Volumes in a failover cluster. For further information, see https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd759147.aspx.
  2. Install DPX Client software on each node in the cluster. Following are installation considerations:
    • Use the DPX installer for Windows 2012 R2.
    • If you are upgrading DPX, a reboot is required.
    • A CSV node cannot be a DPX master server, DPX device server, or DPX virtualization server.
  3. Add the nodes to in the usual way. The CSV cluster should be a dedicated Node Group in DPX. See Adding a Node.
