Configuration Overview for ACS

Configuring a StorageTek ACS environment involves three basic steps:

1. Configuring the ACSLS server to make scratch tapes available and to accept calls from the client where the ssi (or LibAttach) is running.
2. Configuring the ssi (UNIX) or LibAttach (Windows) client to send ACS commands to the node running the ACSLS software. DPX must be installed on the node issuing these commands.
3. Configuring the STK tape library, the device, and the media within the management console.
