restore report

Purpose

To preview information for a defined restore job. This allows the user to preview what files will be restored and what tapes will be required before running a restore job. By default, this command displays all data for the restore.

Format

Arguments

-n _jobname_	The name of the defined restore job.
-f _filename_	Writes preview results to filename. If not specified, results are displayed.
-r _count_	Returns only the count number of preview result records. Use this to limit the display. Use reportnext to continue display.
-l _lpp_	Formats the output as logical pages with headers repeated after lpp lines. If not specified, no headers are produced.
-tapes	Preview tapes required for the restore.
-partitions	Preview tapes required and what partitions will be used.
