Option 1 - Using DB2 Control Center GUI

Do the following:

1. Open the DB2 Control Center Graphical User Interface (GUI).
2. Click on the Backup Option for the database to be backed up.
3. Specify the media type as Vendor DLL
4. Specify the complete path to the shared library, libbexdb2-shared.a.64.
5. Execute the backup.
