DB2 Backup and Restore Commands on Windows

To enter Windows DB2 commands:​

Click Start > Programs > IBM DB2 > DB2COPY1 (Default) > Command Line Tools > Command Window.

Windows DB2 commands are described below for the following conditions:

  • Backup
    • Offline Backup
    • Online Backup
  • Restore
    • Offline Restore for Existing Database
    • Offline Restore for New Database
    • Online Restore for Existing Database
    • Online Restore for New Database
