Block Backup Wizard Step 2: Select Source
For Block backups, the level of backup source granularity varies based on the type of volume. The following table indicates the resource level you can select for each scenario:
| Regular Volume | volume level |
|---|---|
| Microsoft Exchange Volume | volume (Exchange instance), information store, or storage group |
| Microsoft SQL Server Volume | database level and instance level |
| Oracle | database level and tablespace level |
| DFS Replicated Folders | volume level and folder level |
To specify the source data:
In the Select Source step of the wizard, drill down and select the resources to back up on the backup source tree.
