Oracle Database Open Option

This option is used with “cloning” of Oracle databases. There are occasions when the cloned Oracle database should not be opened at all or should be opened in read-only mode. This option can be used in those cases. You may not want to have a cloned database opened when you want to do further recovery of it.

Open Reset Logs	Opens Oracle database with resetlogs option. This is the default.
Open Read Only	Opens Oracle database in read-only mode.
Do Not Open	Does not open Oracle database.
