Restoring Microsoft Exchange Server databases

The following steps is a summary of restoring the Microsoft Exchange Server databases:

  1. Select a backup instance.
  2. Select from the backup instance the components to restore.
  3. Select the restore destination.
  4. Optionally set restore job options.
  5. Optionally schedule the restore job.
  6. Run the restore job.
  7. For a DAG, continue to post-restore re-seeding steps. See Post-Restore: Reseeding the Passive DAG Database.
