Prerequisites for Protecting Oracle Databases

- Instant Access to Oracle backup instances
- Quick restore using Instant Access mapping
- Database cloning on an alternate node which involves recovery by way of Instant Access
- RMAN Cataloging
Note that support for backup and recovery of Oracle Databases to a NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP target is limited.
