Updating the License Key Using the Linux Shell
If your license key expired, log in to the Linux shell of the Catalogic DPX Master Server with the root privilege:
- Stop the CMAgent service. See Managing the CMAgent Service for instructions.
- On the Master Server, go to the directory for Catalogic DPX. Typically, the directory is located in
/opt/DPX/. - Open the text file, .ssbe_key, with a text editor. Enter the new key in this text file and save it.
- Start the CMAgent service again.
Open either DPX Management Interface and ensure that the license key was updated.
