System requirements

The Catalogic DPX Master Server​

You can use the Catalogic DPX GuardMode with the following editions of the Catalogic DPX Master Servers:

  • Catalogic DPX Master Server virtual appliance for VMware
  • Catalogic DPX Master Server virtual appliance for Microsoft Hyper-V
Note.

The Catalogic DPX GuardMode is not available for the Catalogic DPX Master Server for Linux or Microsoft Windows which is sometimes referred to as a “physical appliance”.

Note.

The following systems are not fully supported at the moment:

  • Windows 11 including Mixed Reality and IoT Edition;
  • Windows 10 including Mobile and IoT Edition (32 or 64-bit)
  • Windows 8/8.1 except RT and Starter Edition (32 or 64-bit)
  • Windows 7 SP1 with Convenient Rollup Update or higher, any Edition (32 or 64-bit)
  • Windows Server 2012

Applications​

The command-line interface for the Catalogic DPX GuardMode requires Microsoft Windows PowerShell which is usually bundled with Microsoft Windows. Catalogic Software tested the Catalogic DPX GuardMode with the following components:

  • Microsoft Windows PowerShell 5.1 for Microsoft Windows Server 2022, 2019, and 2016
  • Microsoft Windows PowerShell 4.0 for Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
