Enabling Volume Encryption

In Catalogic vStor, you can make your data more secure by adding encryption to your volumes.

When creating a new volume, turn on the encryption feature and set a password. This password is stored safely in a remote location:

Once encryption is enabled, you can lock or unlock your volume from its details page:

Attention!

It is important to keep your password safe, as it cannot be reset.
